You shouldn't need meth injection with race gas... especially not those fuels

Right with those fuels you don't need an octane boost. However it's not to say you couldn't benefit from the cooling affect of your intake charge with water/meth. When you already have E85 or race fuel though I'd probably just spray straight water for cooling and not even bother with the meth part. It's what I've seen some locals running E85 around here doing.

Im using a Devils Own Progressive kit, 12GPH nozzle mounted in between throttle body and intake manifold

on 28-29psi on 92 octane pump i made 608whp

Ive never had any issues with the setup, I've built my own failsafe to integrate into my S300 as well in case it doesn't turn on..

I previously had the nozzle in the charge pipe, but it kept getting inside the TPS sensor and causing driveability issues.

Methanol doesn't really have a true octane rating due to octane being a measuremenr for petroleum based fuels (gasoline) but it's been estimated that methanol has an octane rating between 106-110 however it's significantly higher sue to its cooling properties.

A 50/50 blend should raise 91 to 100-105 octane... mostly dependant on quantity injected

Is this a common issue? I was planning on installing in the charge pipe myself. How did you install between the throttle body and the intake? did you put a spray plate between them?

It shouldn't get inside the tps, throttle body shaft seal is bad.

I just used a Throttle body flange, drilled and tapped it for a nozzle, just got to make sure the nozzle is level or very close to level with the ID of the flange so it sprays properly.

I went thru multiple TPS sensors because of meth getting into them.. i havent heard of alot of people experiencing the issue, but im not the only one, not many people run meth kits on hondas for some reason..

Yeah you would think so, but the throttle body was brand new with the build, and a buddy had the same problem with a new billet throttle body from BDL or BBK or some brand of the like.

The one on my car is a xenocron 68mm one, same issue..

I dont think the shaft seals were meant or designed to hold in 30psi..

Reguardless i fixed the issue on my car
