MBC and internal wastegate actuator questions
so my mbc doesnt have a spring or ball in it and all of the ones that i have seen do, why doesnt mine, is it an old design or is it just made wrong??
Also, i havent been able to get my setup to boost over 6 psi and am thinking that the actuator is not leting me do so although before i put the intercooler on it did run at 9 psi, how would i go about tuning the actuator so that i can turn up the boost??
My third and final question is, my BOV blows off even at very little throttle, not a real loud noise but a small whistling, i have been trying to find out how to tune this also but not really understanding.
i have a greddy kit on a d16y7 with a type s bov and tyrus intercooler.
thanks for the help in advance.

Re: MBC and internal wastegate actuator questions (1dumbassscreenname)
on the MBC. umm i've never seen one without the ball/spring. But did you adjust the thing to see if it makes any difference? try that and if it doesn't do anything then i would try a different boost controller.
9psi to 6psi. i belive you lost that with the addition of the intercooler i think it's normal.
not 100% sure on this stuff but try it cuz i'm tired and the info may not be 100% acurate. but hey, free bump, cuz i am too tired to think anymore.

the boost at 9 psi before was detuned to 6 psi with the mbc, then a week later the intercooler was added. so not sure, i think i will have to get a new mbc and if someone has info on tunig the actuator and bov i would really appreciate it.
