the pita would be sending it to brazil to get warranty work, that could take a long time.

i looked at the MP brand, and they seem to be decent turbo's. a lot of turbo'd mustang guys use them. however being that the factory is in brazil, warranty work and replacement parts are not easy to get in a timely fashion.

keep us posted when you purchase one. M planning to buy a T70 for my H22 soon. based on the other forums they are good stuff. The crappy ones are the ones sold By Ssautochrome. The ones from Brazil are the real ones.

For your h22, a t70 would be nice... but on my 1.8l gsr motor... it lags like a bitch.

I wonder if Master Power knows that SSautoshit is ruining their name...

I mean, Master Power could have a really good legal case against SSauto. I don't understand why Master Power doesn't sue the **** out of ssauto and put them out of business? That would be doing all of us a favor.

I think they don't sue because Master Power's biggest clients are the OEM market, which are diesel cars, trucks, big rigs, etc.... They aren't really into the racing market which SSAutoChrome is after.

Luckily, he probably knows what order to put his spark plug wires in.

Anyway, master power has been GREAT quality wise. Recently used them in 400/500/600whp four cylinders and I've put them together with numerous daily driven kits. I've not had one go bad, so I don't know how well they back up their stuff. However, I can tell you innovative will tell you that you dont' know how to install a turbo when one of their turbo's fails in two weeks and four other brand turbos have worked for four years, previously, and continue to work now!

Sometimes, price doesn't mean quality.

I know this thread is old, just wanted to get some things straight...

I work for Parts Express and we are one of only two importers of Master Power Turbochargers here in the States. We DO NOT sell to ssautochrome nor we do any kind of business with them. Our turbos are 100% made in Brazil with quality parts and components, the factory has been producing turbos for diesel and heavy machinery for over 30 years, they know what they are doing.

You don't need to send the turbo to Brazil if you have any issue, we have a full facility in Miami were all the warranties are processed. All of our turbos have a 12 month warranty and most of the time, if you have a problem with the unit we'll send you a brand new one. (btw, we get very little units back, something like 2-3%)

Now, we know that there are some knockoff around and we are trying to legally do something about that, but its not easy. Just beware of who and where you are getting your turbos from, we a have a list of authorized distributors on our web site (www.partsexpressonline.com).

If you have any questions just shoot me an email
