Master Power
I actually buy all my turbos from the distributor down here in FL that deals with Garrett, Turbonetics and is the main source for distributing the Master Power turbos in the U.S.
I have compared a bunch of exhaust housings, wheels, turbine housings,etc...From what I can conclude-THe exhaust housings not come with a v-band clam already welded on on all of the T4 tang housings.(Nice option) They are virtually identical to Turbonetics housings except om the inside where they could use some clean up work. Also the flange on some of the turbine housings where the entrance is for the exhaust flow is not the exact some size as a Garrett ot turbonetics, it seems to be the same bolt pattern but the hole is a little smaller. Not sure if it would affect anything really.
The wheels Master Power uses are different the Garrett specs, they try to make new wheels with similar varitions on wheels that are already out, a 62-1 might not be exactly the same size as a Turbonetics 62-1. Decent turbos as for as I believe

no offense ment, but please post a picture of this when making such a statement.
weve also been shipped a couple units under the masterpower brand, with distributer paperwork as "trial product". "trial product" to be used on a vehicle. however, we didnt even see them as being fit for testing.
we also receive a fair amount (~20-30 a month) of these turbos for repair. almost 90% are beyond repair, with a customer stated ~1000mi or less.
again, no offense to people that have had good "luck" with these units. but, in our opinion, not everyone in this world is a gambler and thats why we recommend and use only Garrett turbochargers.

well,i don't think the REAL master power turbos are out there as much so i don't see how you can get 30 real master power turbos a month. If the customer bought it from a real master power dealer and not EBAY they wouldn't have to send them to you since the real turbos have a 1 year warranty.
Don't be scared of some competition. I see here only the sponsors who sell turbos seem to be bashing this product without having all the info.
The real Master power turbos from Brazil are good turbos. If you want to buy one DON'T GET IT OFF EBAY!
The two links i posted above would be the only places i would get one from. Cheapturbo, why don't you post some pictures of these turbos you are receiving so we know what they actually are.

Well, my master power has been in for a little over 2 months now and been running a pretty decent basemap on ueberdata. No complaints from it yet. No oil in my charge pipes, no black smoke coming out the tail pipe, no oil being burned. I like it so far. And for $500 I don't think it was that bad of a deal.
I have the 810021 off this site

What? What BS is this. The turbo i posted above is a real Master power with the named stamped on the compressor cover. I said before MP marks their wheels while some shady China place might use some junk internals with Master power housing.
As long as you buy a Master power from a known distributor you will be getting the real thing.
where in the archives does it say this? Maybe you can link it for me so i can correct the misinformation.

OK I WILL SAY THIS FOR THE LAST TIME! SS autochrome HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MASTER POWER! THEY ARE 2 DIFFERENT COMPANIES! PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE TURBOS FROM EBAY UNDER THE SS AUTOCHROME OR STONE RACING LABEL!
The turbo you are referring too that has the blue tag that reads "turbocharger" on it is a Stone racing or SSautochrome piece of junk and is not reliable.
The "real" Master power turbos that you buy from an authorized Master power distributor are the ones from Brazil and have the designated master power serial plate like the one i posted above. You cannot buy a real master power turbo for $300 bucks!

haha,it does seem like that doesn't it. I've done a lot of research on them and a friend of mine is a distributor for the real turbos so i have more info on others. I'm just trying to correct the misinformation. The real master power turbos from Brazil are good turbos and the price is damn good.
Where can you find a 800 hp capable turbo for $600 with a 1 year warranty?
They are supposed to be releasing a 76mm turbo soon too which i will be getting since with my engine the bigger wheel works better and is in the 70% or better efficiency range at all operating rpms on my setup.
Just like i said if you buy a master power turbo from a real distributor and not ebay you will be fine.

so where is the best place to get a MASTER TURBO??
from what i have seen they have some funky ARs on them, i was looking for something with a 63ar on the exhaust and above a 50ar on the compressor side but they are kinda weird like 70AR on the compressor and 48 AR on the exhaust???
i was looking for the t3/t4, but all the good ARS seem to be on the T$ models only

Look at part number 810021
its a T3/t4 turbo using a stage 3 T3 wheel .63 ar,To4e wheel .50 ar
i believe a pic was posted above
I would buy them from only 2 places
http://www.boostedsystems.com which is in GA and i got my MP from
http://www.forcedinductions.com which is in AL
http://www.partsexpressonline....e.htm this site lists all the master power performance turbos but their prices are expensive. I would find one that interests you,get the part number and call one of the 2 places i listed above and i'm sure they will beat those prices by a large margin.
