Map Sensor
Guys...boosting 20psi but now i am just doing 5psi because i have a MAP problem. Installed the greddy e-manage to replace the blue box and all wiring is correct...believe me it is correct...when i go into boost whether 5psi or 20psi i get a check engine light...when i check what the code is i get 3 which is MAP sensor. Do you think i might need a missing MAP link? Has anyone ran into this problem?...when the check engine light comes on I get extremeeeeee backfire and also it idles troppy like if i was N/A fully built...i would have to shut the car off then back on to make it go away...please help

Re: Map Sensor (J. Davis)
The thing is that even at 5psi I get the check engine. I never had this problem when I had the blue box...now that I put the e-manage in I get it at 5psi...so I don't know why the heck its acting up even on low boost. I know a MAP doesn't cost much but I have a feeling it might be something else if its acting up even on low boost.

Re: Map Sensor (incognitoracerr)
E-manage piggybacks the stock ECU. It's performing an AFC hack, more or less. The max return input you can have going to stock Honda ECU is ~3 volts before it kicks a CEL 3, depending on your size of injectors and how you are tuning, the E-manage is obviously not keeping the MAP voltage the ECU sees below 3 volts.
