So my question is should I have the same oil pressure at the v-tec oil pressure sending unit as I do at the stock oil pressure sending unit?</TD></TR></TABLE>

That would be greatly appreciated!!!! The way I look at it is Vtec needs oil pressure to start so wouldn't the vtec oil sending unit have pressure at it all the time to see if its safe to cross over?

Have you tried switching to a known good solenoid? It seems to me that it is mechanically malfunctioning. Have you tried disassembling the solenoid?
