Default Mac boost solenoid vacuum question

Does the vacuum line going to the port #1 have to be tee-d from the vaccum line going to the bottom wastegate port? Or can I run a vacuum line from my vacuum manifold straight to the port #1 on the mac solenoid?

It's a 3-port Mac solenoid that I got when I ordered my Hondata S300 from Phearable.net. I'm wondering if I can run a vac line from my GE vac manifold directly to the solenoid, or if I HAVE to tee into the wastegate line. The reason I ask is that my wastegate vac line is a braided ss line now, since it sits so close to the turbo manifold. If I HAVE to tee into the wastegate line, then I would have to take off the braided ss line and run a rubber hose.

You do not have to T off the bottom wastegate line.
