Later I plan on boosting more and boost by gear so I'm not spinning like crazy on the track or streets. My first crazy boosted set up so I'd like to get feedback form the pros! Any advise out there is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

head is all together. short block all together. tranny all together. waiting on ecu and turbo. turbo should be in this week. ecu should be here thursday. if everything goes as planned it should be up and running by nxt week. all parts are accounted for. just have to plastigage bearings to check clearances.

i knew someone was going to ask tht. only reason why is kuz the shop i work for has a real good account with godspeed and the owner has a good relationship with them. so basically got it for free.

All that work and he shoots for a "Godspeed" turbo.... Its bad enough on a engine with forged pistons and rods. I'm lost....

masterpower, godspeed, insert ebay brand here. all the same.
also, doesn't that turbo have a divided housing? do you have the proper manifold and wg setup for that?

Ok that's fair enough. So if the Turbo fails and takes out the engine it can be justified as the turbo was free.
I say just wait and purchase something proper instead of gambling with that heap of ****.

tht is correct. at the moment i have a custom ram horn with a t4 (not divided housing) on a single 44mm v band wastegate.

If you're only shooting for 400-450. Pro 2 cams and T4 turbo are really not needed. If this is your first turbo build, go with a faster spooling T3 based turbo. You wont regret it.

reason for 400-450 goal is just to start off. later after i get more use to driving boost i will turn it up. 650-700 will be the range at about 25-30 lbs of boost. i believe 10-15lbs of boost is a good start off range for the power band im looking to aim for now. as time goes by i will turn it up.
