What type of LSD are Quaife, Kaaz, OBX, and any other popular Honda option:
clutch-type, viscous coupling, locking differential or Torsen differential?

what is the torque multiplier associated with Quaife and OBX LSD's?
Which type is best for straight line acceleration in an FI Honda?
Which type is best for turning in an FI Honda as in autox or HPDE?

Re: (NB)
don't know about tq multiplier but Quaife is about the best you can get. Nearly indestructable.
OEM honda is really great too, except it has limitations on the power it can handle.

What I mean by torque multiplier is that torsen LSD's are usually associated as 1.5 way, 2 way, etc. It represents the amount of torque that can be sent to the slower moving wheel compared to the faster moving wheel.

OEM Honda is viscous on the Non-Type R's
Type R's are helical like the Quaife.
Most OEM viscous diffs are one-way.
Too bad the search engine is down because I have several diff threads in the archives.

agreed. I wouldn't advise using anything by OBX. China just doesn't make anything good for our cars And I'm not even being racist.
