Slight bog/hesitation w/ hondata s200b @ 10in. Hg vaccum
My hatch seems to love to bog whenever i'm part-throttling at 10 in. Hg vaccum. It's a slight bog but it's very annoying when you're highway driving. But when i full throttle it's perfectly fine; only happens when i'm driving at 10in. Hg vaccum. Anyone experience this or know more info on a solution? I've posted this in the Hondata forums also. Hm...maybe it needs a good retune..
here's the specs:
Hondata s200b
b18c1 w/ max rev turbo kit boosting @ 10psi.
RC 550s

yeah its most likely the tune if its an s200 box. unless whoever tuned it ran an old rom editor version....

check your tps voltage. I had the same problem. I tried to retune it still had a hesitation. Went to hondalogger checked the tps, moved the voltage to a little more than a half .56v. Evertything cleared up. However, Ihad a str throttle body and I had switch the tps sensor. Maybe hard throttle moved it a bit. I also thought it was a bad trans, but it wasn't. Hope this helps.
