i am in the process of building a motor and need some help.
the motor
b18b1 block w/block guard
9:1 cp forged pistons
forged eagle h beams
arp stud bolts
b16a head stock

this is my everyday driver so i need to keep it on pump gas but i also want it fast so i was wondering what turbo i should use gt30r or the t3/t4?? and how much boost could i run with each on pump gas? Also can i put gsr cams on my head? and if so do they help?

 

gsr cams will help. I would go with a t3/t4 as its cheaper and has a fast spool. How ever, the 30r has a fast spool, but is expensive!

How much power do you want to make?

 

well im not quite sure on exact power i want to make pretty much as much as i can off of pump gas like i said its gonna be premuch and everyday driver but i want it be be a fairly quick everyday driver probably around 400 hp 300 trq. what is the difference exactley in the t3/t4 vs. the gt30r
