Default ls/vtec with turbo???

ok i have decided to not just swap an ls/vtec into my ek but to turbo it also. i was thinkin about 8psi from a t3/t4 turbo, dsm 450s, 38mm waste, ssqv bov. but my question is: its a stock b18b1 block with stock b18c1 head and i was going to limit my rev to 8k, will the bottom end be reliable and safe for 8 lbs to 8k rpm? i dont want to build the motor i want it to be all stock internals. the ls block has smaller rod bolts then the gsr so i dont want to be at the track runnin up 8k with 8 psi and shoot a rod through the block. thanks

WARNING!!! You are probably going to get an ear full about the idea of psi and limiting your engine to how much it can handle.

A LS block i was told, using a bigger turbo. say.... 60 trim could only handle 8-10lbs, is this true or false?

I was almost depressed when i heard that. I know ALOT depends on tune... but someone please resolve this for me

the biggest weakness in a ls block is the rod bolts....I would strongly suggest upgrading those....psi doesn't really matter, every turbo is gonna flow different cfms at the same psi...what matters is how much power the engine is producing. whats your compression at?

im pretty much the same u wanna do completly stock ls bottom with a stock b16 head with gsr cams T3/60-1 70 trim tial wastegate 10 pound spring but it will creap to 12 pounds. I beat the crap outta it last night at the track turning it 8k havent had a issue with anyting! I know its just a matter of time before a rod bolt breaks. But it would be good insurance to buy some arp rod bolts and put in your rods!!!
