LS/Vtec build with Turbo Setup yieling close to 400hp
I'm seriously considering buying this car.
He is claiming a 380whp 15lbs currently on 12lbs making 345whp Daily setting
I wanted to know how good is the built? (engine and turbo setup) and do those numbers seem reasonable?
Roughly what kinda compression am i looking at with this build?
Would i be doing injustice to the motor if i do N/A route in the long term with the engine?
Thanks

You have 4,800 posts and you can't tell if this setup seems right for the numbers provided? Or if its a good build? I don't see one knock off part on the list... Why would you consider going N/a?? You can easily... but that would be doing injustice imo by making it N/A. Your compression is around 10:1 more than likely.. we don't know the piston dome.. how much the head was shaved/milled..
Simple answer... yes those numbers are very realistic with the mod list..

So if don't redline the crap out of the engine and not use it as a "racecar". Ideally can this stand the test of time?

That car HAS the parts to be boosted. Everything is there. I'm pretty sure if the car is running and tuned now, its fine. I'm sure hes opened that thing up more than you can imagine, its made to redline. Eagle rods.. built valve train.. What else more can you want?
Just make sure you be firm on maintenance, changing oil frequently, watching coolant, temperature. Oil should be changed every 1000-1500 miles depending how hard you run it.

if it has parts to be boosted most likely it's built for boost. n/a and fi motors have different clearances. if you a na car get a car built for it. and from what I understand cp does not offer 10:1 compression pistons . that does not mean he can't have that compression

Thanks guys..
I'm looking to making this a daily driver (roughly 300+ miles a week) with occasionally visiting the 7-8K RPMs during the fun runs...
