I hardwired it to strait from the dizzy to the tach.

i am talking about the blue wire mod. the apexi instructsions only covers the wire that you are supposed to use and i don't have a wiring diagram. so i was wondering if one of you guys who has the mod done could hook me up with the wire info.

The blue wire mod is used only on SAFC's. I think the Nissan's use this wire on some sensor. But on our Honda's we have no use for it. So you can hook up this blue wire to the 02 sensor output and then goto the Sensor Check on the SAFC "etc." panel. And look at Sensor 2. It should be the voltage from your 02 sensor output. Some people use this to tune their cars with a a/f reading and their stock tach (because the SAFC rpms will not work in this mode).
It's a cheap way of doing it. And is definitely not as efficent as a wideband but that's why they're running the AFC in the first place.
