Low idle after boost
Boosted d16y8 and tuning w uberdata.
After a run, it idles really low and wants to shut off.
the a/f is at 14.8 at idle and 11-12.5 on boost.
What could be causing the low idle?
TIA

well my idle is kinda funy sometimes... i found out it was because the voltage going to the injectors was kinda low.. whenever i would turn on the heat or headlights for instance the idle would be perfect.. but if i didnt have anything electrical really goin it would be kinda choppy idle..
its the tuning , your going too lean when you get off the gas.....ive had that problem before , and now that i have 750's in my car sometimes does the same thing.
mine does that too sometimes. when i left off the throttle quick and throw it in neutral.. it will do that. it would go up and down once or twice, then stabalize itself a little under 1000rpm. oh well, i'm planning on getting the hondata retuned anyways.

hrm... we suspected this. gonna look into it tonight. thanks

mine does the same thing.............most of the time.
there's about a 50/50 chance that when i pull up to a red light it will die. but when the car is first started up in the morning, and i drive to school, i never have a problem and the car never dies. it seems like once it really warms up it wants to die more often. i don't know what the deal is, jason (st00pid) told me he tried his best to get it to idle, but it didn't seem to work out so well. i'll try using more electricity like J337_UNIT says and see if that helps any.

um, i thought you always go lean when you let off the throttle, regardless of tune. during deceleration fuel is cut i was under the impression anyways...or is it just the split second when the plate closes we are talking about and not actual deceleration?

Thats what we thought too... And just like someone said up there... it doesnt happen when the car is cold, only happens when the car gets hot.
And yes we tried adjusting the idle screw- didnt do anything.
Im gonna say we need a "tuning for dummies" book.

Anyone else have anything to contribute?
Again, the car seems to idle fine when its cold... its after it gets hot that the idle fluctuates and wants to turn off. It goes really low to the point the car is about to turn off for about 5 seconds or so then goes back up to about 1500 rpms, and the cycle repeats itself.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

reviving this thread coz i recently got tuned with uberdata and i have a somewhat similar problem.
setup is a b16 with stock internals running 7psi with a t28 nissan turbo, intercooled. 450cc blue top dsm injectors, stock fuel pressure. P08 ecu with P30 tables using uberdata 1.7
ok the..problem is after tuning, the car stalls when you engage the clutch at deceleration after boost.
used to have a really bad idle problem, the car would idle at 2000rpm at cold start and then settle around 1000 to 1500rpm when hot. sometimes it goes back to normal idle, sometimes not. we traced it to a vacuum leak on the throttle body gasket so we replaced it, now the car idle ok. cold starts idle at 1500rpm and settles to normal idle when hot. but it still stalls when decelerating especially when i engage the clutch.
i know that fuel is cut when the car is decelerating but it shouldn't stall..anyone encountered the same problem with their setup? anybody have an idea as to what causes it stall on deceleration?
i also reburned the chip several times with the same problem thinking it may be a problem wth the pocket programmer but it still stalls.
