Here's the skinny.
precision 1000cc injectors
hondata s300
The problem: I had it idling great a few weeks ago, around 850rpm with no issues at all. Now, it seems to want to die pretty regularly. It'll idle very well for maybe 15 minutes and as it gets warmer, it dies. It is somewhat regular at times, then just craps out after a minute or two of sitting. It's not really recovering well after coming off throttle either. Wideband goes lean, idle drops, car dies. It seems to happen alot more during daylight hours than any other time, but it still tries to die on occasion on the drive home at night.
Any ideas? I've played with the iacv slider, raised the idle, cleaned the iacv.
Possibilities? Bad IACV? Could a dying alternator cause this? There's no charging light.
Dazzle me...

It's really hard to say. Having tuned alot of cars, I've explored and discovered various ways and methods to solve idle problems. It's really up to you to experiment.
IACV, surrounding cells that are being interpolated, along with actual throttle plate adjustments are some things that can work that type of issue out.
Is the idle issue occuring with the O2 disabled or no?

sounds like it could be an issue with ambient temperature, or even the ECU correction tables...
when big cc injectors are tuned, it takes a bit of work in the right sequence to get em to perform nicely.... I would consult the tuner and show him what your talking about... most will fix a minor error like that when it is found early.

do you know the idle reset procedure?
warm up completely. once warm unplug IACV. set idle to 600 [assuming idle of 750 in ecu] (I normally set it to -150 from what the ECU's target idle is; gets best results), turn off engine. Pull ECU backup fuse under hood. wait 10 sec, plug in IACV, plug in fuse, start car and hear it purr.
