that is why i never force my stick. (kinda sounds nasty) i always let it rest in the middle for a second, then put it into gear. if you stick is soft it may not rest in the center very fast, but i have a hard stick. lol

do yall understand or does this sound like a description to a porno.

nice upgrade, how much did that set you back?

ah, don't feel bad man, i had a big block nova w/a rachet shifter, you know the kind that doesn't let you go in reverse...driving to work early one morning, tired as hell, hit the shifter, kinda wet out, kicked her sideways... bang it into 3rd, then for some damn reason i pulled up on the shifter and stuck it in reverse, luckily it was wet out. it just locked right up.... no damage though hehe everyone does dumbass stuff

just the other day i was doing a 3 point u-turn in front of two cute girls walking their dog... i was still moving when i dropped the stick into reverse.... CRRRUNNNCHHHH!!! i wanted their attention.. but not like that...
i thought Hondas had a reverse gear lockout?

Heh, you'd think right? However if I remember correctly it bent all of his valves.

It really sounds like bent valves, I remember when we did that a few years ago in my friends car.
