Throttle response sucks! When the car is cold the car drives fine feel like my stock honda motor...and will drive fine till it idles for a while(ie turbo timer) ...then all hell breaks loose..it won't go anywhere..I mean I literally have to feather the clutch while rpm's are @ 5000 for it to go anywhere...I haven't got a clue as to why it does this..any idea's on where to start..I mean why does it only act like this somtimes..
The car is a 2000 civic si w/ drag III turbo kit
has benson sleeves and arias 9:1 pistons..stock head w/ skunk2 vavle springs..running stock fuel system w/ walboro fuel pump and regular drag III fuel system setup..missing link and msd 6btm ignition w/ ss blaster coil..

It sounds like poor MAP response. Check your missing link.

can they go bad? how would I know?

yeah unless the fmu has gone bad..I don't think it's that..

 

It sounds like a map sensor problem. Or it could be the tpc is out of place or could have moved.
