Default lost pintle cap during injector install

ok, i found 1/2 of it on the floor. as for the other half, i'm not sure...could have fallen into intake mani, or could still be on the injector. the injector is dsm450's and this issue is driving me nuts. if it did fall in there, what should i do? i was hoping it would just come out thru exhaust mani->exhaust. will it get stuck in the engine and break something? after all, it's a freaking piece of plastic, not a chunk of metal. what are your thoughts?

oh ****, i dont know what to say, just hope it didnt fall into the motor. if it did, tear that thing apart. or you could take the sparkplug out and look down the hole with a flashlight and see if you can see it. putting that cylinder at BDC would probabally easier to see. also look into the injector hole to see if it is sitting in the intake port.

my injector cap fell off on a dyno pull and got stuck between the piston and head. it bent a tool steel wrist pin just slightly. it was still in there when I pulled the head off, flat as a pancake! find it for sure!
