Default losing boost

i have b18c t3/04e 57trim 60/63ar. 38mm tial wg .5bar spring vac from intake man., maxrev log manifold, 2.5 dp, 3in exhaust, drag icooler, 2in& 2.5 out piping. My car wont hold boost in upper rpms. I looked at my datalog from a 70mph roll on: from 3600rpm, peaked at 7.8 psi from 4300-4800rpm and gradually dropped to 1.3 psi at 6100rpm. I have checked all my piping and connectors& tightened the spring on my bov but no luck so far. anyone had this problem? I am running a screen with 3 layers of k&n filter material between another screen on the compressor inlet, could this be resticting it?
any help

yes the screen is probably restricting it...try using one of the layers of filter material and see what it does...i went screen crazy once and went crazy trying to figure out why it wouldnt boost haha..

try running with out a filter just to test

have you tested your charge pipes? like pressurized the system?

i will try it without a filter and see if that helps. I havent pressure tested the system, but I have a hard time believing that it is leaking when it holds 7 psi at lower rpms, higher rpms dont require more pressure but more volume of air do they not. I'm not sure though, and I'm grasping at straws here at the moment. I am also going to try and run my vac source to my wgate from a source closer to the compressor to see if maybe that helps

duhh

it's a huge restriction

now make a real intake setup or just slap the biggest k&n you can get on there. they have a HUGE selection of custom filters

its not that I wanted to run that set up, there is just very little room in there and my turbo inlet is directly in front of my clutch slave cylinder (inlet faces pass side) so just slapping a filter on it isnt such an easy task. I'm gonna try and make something outta piping and some silicone elbows 2day
