I did search but couldnt find the answer.
So the story is i was having boost creep with a tial 38mm wg on my setup, so i ordered a new .5 bar wg spring to make sure it wasnt a faulty spring, it wasnt, so i sent the wg back and ordered a 44mm but it came with a 1 bar wg spring, so yeah can´t run 1 bar on a stock engine lol, my doubt is i was told i can use the 38mm wg springs on the 44mm, even so i checked the tial site and the .5 bar for the 38 (green) isnt the same as the 44mm green one (.4 bar) so lol are they really interchangable?

I have heard that they are different.. If the size of the spring is the same then it might be that the .5 bar 38mm will be lower boost on the 44mm wastegate since it needs to open less to vent the same as the 38mm does, but thats just a guess..

well yeah thats what i´m thinking too, it seems to be less .1 bar when each colour is compared from the 38 to the 44, ill confirm that later when i take the car for a spin.
just go off tials spring list for your particular wastegate based on color. i.e. large blue spring in the 38mm = 1bar, in the 44mm large blue = .9 bar same spring to my knowledge.
