Just got my Pauter Rods for my B16A Buildup(rebuildup) Gotta question about bearing sizing?
Alright I just received that visit we always wait for the man in the Ugly brown suit UPS, I got my Pauter Rods for my B16A until they came I never thought about the sizing of the rods, I know with my Eagles I bought from Endyn a long time ago I was told the rods were sized equivelent to a #2 Honda . Before I posted I called Pauter and spoke to someone, he was of no help he said we size them to a stock Honda rod, I'm like OK I know that but which one? #1,2 or #3 rod, we size them according to the size of the rod and then the code on the crank ie.. 2b=yellow and 2c=green, 3a=yellow and so on. Anyone with Pauters know the size of them compared to a stock Honda rod? I know all the codes on the crank and block so that's not a worry. All my bearings were sized for my old Eagle rods. I will have my machinist mic and check them anyways, just asking for anyone who has used them. Any help is appreciated.

don't f*ck around with that stuff.... just plastie gauge everything and get the proper bearings for each rod. Also make sure it's the same all across....don't guess on bearing sizes.

I wasn't going to GUESS on bearing sizes but was curious to know the size of the rods, I didn't think about it today that I changed my rods and may need to order some new bearings. DOH! 
The bearings have about 1100 miles on them and are swtill good since I had to break the motor back down from problems. I will definately measure everything.

are those an x beam rod??? i just got a set from pauter for my wrx.....and they are recommended for under 8000 rpms due to the weight(they are huge). rated for 40+ lbs of boost. did they say anything to you about their weight compared to your honda rod?????
