what size rod bearing do i run???
for stock rods you take the code from the block and mate it with the number in the rods to get the correct bearings.
what about for my after market eagle rods. how do i know what size bearings to order for them?? there is no number on the side of the rod cap like the oem ones

i plan on pulling the head off and swaping out forged rods and pistons
help me turn to the darkside and finally make some real power

Measure the inside of the big ends of the rods individually.
Than measure the size of your rod journals individually and keep track of all of the measurements, than use this chart https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=715505 to figure out what thickness of bearing will give you the desired clearance you want to run in your motor.. Make sure you stay within the factory guidelines for minimum and maximum clearance. Note this is if you wanna run honda bearings.
Or you can just buy some acl bearings from earl or whoever, put them in plastigauge them and c what u got.
