Default JRSC Porters

Who have you guys had experience with in porting and rebuilding the M62 blowers? I know there's Endyn, and his results are pretty well proven. But...the price of his work is pretty damn high! Are there any other good blower porters that aren't as expensive that do good work, also?

Let me know what you guys have 1st hand experience with. I'm looking to boost the output of the blower in addition to hopefully lowering IATs.

Thanks Guys

Yeah..heard of them. Would love to hear from anyone that's used them to see what kind of results they got.

What does Larry charge to rework a JRSC?

I had a fully reworked ENDYN M62 (JRSC) blower. Larry rebuilt it for me back in 2001 when he also built my motor.

I believe the cost of the blower rework was $1500. It was a TOTAL waste of money IMO. I never saw the power gains attached to his claims. Even when I was running the 16lb pulley he sent it back with. IAT's were INSANE! Highest dyno pull was 228whp @ 11lbs with IAT's in the 240's+.

I would NOT suggest dealing with Larry. My experience was way less than positive. Google my screen name and you can find some of my nightmare still floating around on the internet.

I miss the instant on power of my JRSC, but am far happier in the turbo world.

My buddy is selling his JRSC m62 with the work done already for 2200-2300 I think i'll find you the link, has 16psi pulley, heat exchanger, intercooler full kit. He was hoping for 280-300whp~ and he was going to put a 100 shot on it but just changed his mind and is going 2.0l turbo.

There's no intercooler with that kit, not even a manifold or S-tube.

My Endyn-ported M62 worked great, made almost 300 WHP, charge temps under 100 on an 83 degree day, road-raced it with no heat soak, etc. Some Endyn blowers are different from others though, some still have the rotor coating and the noise-reduction ports, which cause some reversion and loss of efficiency, while some are stripped and have them filled in.

I think that Wade Embree also ports M62's, someone in the JRSC thread had one done by him. I don't think that he reworks them to the extent that Endyn does, but I don't think that he charges $1500 either.

Recently had my blower reworked by Endyn, it was $1550 with the shipping.

Well in his defence there was a manifold and S tube till the shipping provider lost it , You're right no intercooler I meant the pump. Still a very decent kit.
