jrsc misfire lower rmps and idle a/f spikes
I have a Jrsc GSR today I noticed a misfire at low rpms say 2700rpms which is about 40 mph in 4 th gear when the misfire occurs my wideband spikes lean to 16 or 17 (varies) then it goes back to 13 and then levels out in the 14.5 range it does not misfire continually but it is happening alot and only at low rpms and occasionally at idle . I have checked the compression all at 240 psi each cylinder , I changed the plugs , the cap and rotor are oem and pretty new and also look good .I am tuned on Hondata. I have precision 680 cc injectors and am thinking one of them may be my problem . You guys have any suggections of things to check . The injectors are new installed only 900 miles ago. I have had no problems until now .

How old is your O2 sensor, and what kind of life has it seen (any periods of excessively rich running?)?

your car may be affected by the change in temp. causing you a/f to lean out at that certain spot on your maps. you may need to touch up your tune a bit in that area

Well the 02 as far as I know has about 25 k on it and the tune is a bit rich to help combat high IAT and detonation . As far as the temp changes The car was tuned on Hondata and the outside temp is not to much different than it was at the time of tuning maybe 10 to 15 degrees warmer . The problem occurs at idle and at lower throttle loads doesnt seem to be an issue under boost although I am going easy til I get it straightened out .

Well I found my problem and its repaired . It turns out when they installed the resistors for my injectors they did a poor job soldering the connection on # 3 cylinder . I found that moving the injector harness around caused a constant miss . I pulled back the tape and heat shrink and found the connection for #3 in two pieces . I re-soldered it and the car runs 100% again dam glad that all it was !
