Sooty plugs, dead.
If fuel pump, a fuel pressure gauge while driving is the only way to tell. Run the gauge under a windshield wiper and watch it as you hit the long pedal on the right.

thank you.
so far the answers i have got are.....
broken valve ( checked compression, above 180 all across, and even )
bad fuel pump.... ( sounds like it whines a little when i prime it before starting )
bad ignitor
bad map sensor ( no check engine light )
bad tps sensor ( no check engine light )
so sooty plugs means, WHAT is dead?

The plugs. Spark plugs die really easily, especially on boosted vehicles where there's a lot of fuel involved.
I think you have something akin to this guy's problem: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1470924
Check your fuel pressure, but a couple spare sets of plugs laying around is super handy.

i changed plugs, to brand new identical plugs..... same thing.
I just heard a CLANK when i started it....
so i adjusted the idle screw so it would run and i could walk to the motor and listen....
and i heard it 3 times when i reved it at the throttle body....
compression is good, but could this be a bad rod bearing?

i changed plugs...... and it started right up.... (original plugs with 15k miles on it)
old plugs had 100 miles on them... (and were a step colder than the plugs i ran when i was NA)
so i think its running RICH at idle, and LEAN under WOT.
causing the car to foul the plugs.
NOW i really need a tune..... this FMU bullshit and SAFC hack is garbage.
CAN ANYONE TUNE A PM6 with crome or turboedit, in SO CAL ?????
ASAP!?

Bump for the homie.
Note: He's running a charger for the Z6 on an A6. I think that means that the boost levels are higher than "stock". Hopefully, no mechanical failure.

no, i changed the plugs, and it runs fine.
I'm just gonna garage it untill i can get an appointment with church.... then, it'll be out and running the streets again.
