Default JRSC B-Series Questions

Is the b16 sturdier than the b18c1 or b18c5 in boost applications? Would a b18c5 be a waste of money over a b18c1 in supercharged applications?

B18's are the stongest of the Bseries motors. As far as B18C1 and C5 it depends. If you are going to build with new parts get the C1. If you are going to keep relatively stock get the C5.

b16,b18 either one, all are good for boost.
the b18 is not stronger then the b16. The b18's will make more tq though.
Some will argue that the c5 is not good for boost, but it all depends on the application.
If I were to do it all over, i'd go with either a b18b with a b16 head or b18c1.

The JRSC will work much better on the b18c1 than on the b18c5. It is tough to get the c5 jrsc'd cars to run right. I have seen many running slower than stock ITRs. Brian
