have tried numerous compression calculators and all have different results. does anyone know for sure what the cr would be?

.030 DH: 8.47:1
.020 DH: 8.63:1
.010 DH: 8.80:1
0 Deck: 8.99:1
If you're having them installed by a machine shop they will likely deck the block to zero deck after installation.

You really need to know the piston dish volume to calculate the c/r properly. The switch would add .15-1 to the current compression ratio from what ever it would really have been in a b18c.

Re: je 9:1 gsr pistons in a b18a block what compression ratio? (earl)
According to JE's new catalog the 81/81.5mm 9:1 GSR pistons have a 9.3CC dish. When he said B18A block I assumed he meant B18A block and head.
