ITR Turbo Questions...
I hope this exact topic hasn't been beaten to death too much. I've asked the question before and gotten some mixed answers. Is it possible to run 6.5psi on a stock ITR with a whalbro intank fuel pump, Vortech 12:1 FMU, Missing Link check valve and stock injectors?
Would going with a higher ratio FMU help, possibly go with a little bit bigger injectors? What does the stock fuel pump flow, is a high flow pump needed? I know the general answer is going to be "Go Standalone", which I may do. The point is that I'm not boost happy, and can/will live with no more then 6.5psi, intercooled ofcourse. I've had good luck with the above setup on B16's so I see no real issue except the slightly higher compression ratio of the Type R.
Thanks for any and all info. I'm asking this again because my plans for turbo may be coming up sooner than I had 1st thought

Anyone? I'd really appreciate it. Oh yeah, I'm going to run .4 Bar or approx. 5.8psi.
Thanks for any info.

Re: ITR Turbo Questions... (01ITR#700)
the 12:1 fmu is the highest fixed ratio fmu available and it's better to use it in conjunction with an inline fuel pump such as the airtex from the DRAG kit or the more expensive Bosch...both provide similar pressure and flow...the Walbro intanks may not be up to the task for use with an fmu...remember, flow decreases as pressure increases... and yes there are ITR's boosting 6 psi with stock injectors, 12:1 fmu, and INLINE fuel pumps...
