Default intercooler fans

this might be a stupid question, but would there be any benefit to putting a couple pullers on the back of an intercooler?

If you just plan on not moving and just reving your motor to show off you BOV. I had a Celica GT4 and it had a topmount, guys would put fans on them to help cool since they had crazy heat soak.

The Turbonetics kit for the G35 comes with two fans on the fmic, but only because the fmic is mounted behind the bumper cover and there's no direct air flow to it. It's boost activated and blows the same amount of air that you would get if you were traveling 100mph. If your fmic is mounted with a direct air source in front of it like most of our Hondas then there is no need for any fans as it would only disrupt air flow.

but wouldn't a couple 9" 1200cfm fans pull alot more flow than just direct air? a radiator needs a fan for better cooling...

A radiator doesnt need a fan for better cooling when the car is up to speed, the fans are used when the car is in traffic/standing still because air isnt moving through it.

Two little electric fans are not going to move the same amount of air as moving 100mph.

If the intercooler has a direct air source in front of it, it would actually make it worse than having no fans. The radiator fan almost never turns on when you are driving.
