Default inline pro gasket to lower compression. good idea?

what do you guys think of a 3mm head gasket to lower compression on a ls-v. i was hoping for high 300s but no funds for a built block. so i was wondering if that gasket could be a way out?

no need for that gasket.. just leave the higher compression and run less boost. with lowering the compression you will have to increase the boost to get more horsepower rather then just leave the higher comp and run less boost.. either way tho you will be fine. But save yourself time. just leave it how it is.

I actually have one installed in my car. I don't think its bad def worth the money. Been running 343whp for about a year and half now. As most will say OEM is best though.

It probably isnt necessary; however, your fuel choice will play a slight role in this decision. If you're going to be pushing it to the edge on a given octane, you may consider lowering your static compression for the added wiggle room. Having said that, i'm sure the stock compression is probably fine...
