as the title states i need help figuring out if i have clevite/acl or another brand of bearing. my main bearings have the following stamped on the back. "m1-2215-L std". the rod bearings have a "c1-2200 std". thanks for your help.

i have called clevite and they said it wasn't their bearing. im pretty sure they aren't oem as they have no colors on the bearings.thanks turbok.

 

they are michigan bearings, are clevite and michigan not the same bearing?

 

I was under the impression that they're the same.

 

when i called clevite and gave their tech the numbers stamped on the bearing he said it was not a clevite number.
