Default lower compression via gasket or keep high compression?

stats below:

should i drop the compression of my motor and run more boost (safer?) or keep the comp as is and run more boost?(more tuning?)

I was thinking of going with an Inline pro 2mm gasket.

which would also give me more power?

this is my daily driver so I cant afford to go boom.

thanks for any input on this.

Default Re: lower compression via gasket or keep high compression? (Turbo E)

A thicker head gasket will reduce the quench effect which acts as mechanical octane to prevent detonation, if you want to lower the C/R get new pistons.
