i'm confused now...
ok, i've been reading up on turbos, manifolds, 4-bolt vs 5-bolt, etc. and it's lead me to this conclusioin...i'm really f*cking confused. so i'm going to ask my question and hope that someone can answer it for me so i can stop being confused...here goes...
i've got a 96 LS with a fluidyne radiator and the stock fans. i'm planning on running the t3/to4e 57 trim w/ .63 a/r housing. now my question is...what manifold can i run with this without having to shave anything and still be able to keep my a/c? also, is there going to be enough clearance with the stock fans on the fluidyne? if not, what can i do to make room? thanks in advance for the help

4 bolt turbine is a better housing. Its more tangenial and has better flow characteristics then the 5 bolt. Arturbo had a really nice post on this months back, try searching the archives under his name.
Most guys will do a pusher style radiator fan...where it mounts to the front of the radiator.
Most manifolds will require you to shave the webbing on the block, but I think the Inline Pro with a 4 bolt turbo combination you dont have to....i think thats what it was.

you wont fit ANYTHING with a fluidyne and stock fans. Get some slim ones.
I have the same turbo and a drag manifold. Just shave the block. Its not hard.

actually its the inline pro/ 5 bolt combination that requires the least about of shaving. 4bolt still requires alot of shaving.
shaving the block webbing isn't a big deal though, its when u have to shave it next to the serial # and flywheel that makes me cringe.
In order to run a fluidyne radiator w/ inline pro mani and AC you are going to have to either buy a slim fan or run the stock fans as pushers on the backside.
good luck Aaron.
