Im confused, full race or peakboost??
Im looking to turbo my gsr hatch, I wanted to get a full race kit but they seam a little pricey but there quailty is amazing as ive been told. I was also considering a peakboost kit, But I don't want to spend 3 grand on something ill regret buying later...I just wanted to see what everyone would go with...Thanks for all the help!! Also my old turbo d16 was tuned on neptune with a p28, Can I still use that ems with a new motor and turbo kit? I was gonna take it to evans tuning then to let him play with it...Any help would be great!! Thanks!

Thanks man...see what I mean there like equal matched kits, Thats why id figure i would ask people who know and own these kits. Also why does full race mount there blow off valves on the intercooler?

yes. when you went with the neptune system (or hondata, crome, AEM etc.) you basically gave youself the option of doing whatever the hell you want with any B, H, F or D series engine.
edit: to a point.

Nothing wrong with either company man, both make sick power if you don't like to build your own.
I have seen one minor crack on a PB mani from one of their earlier kits and those guys fixed it without a single question so the customer service is definately there. I have never seen a problem with one after either.
I have never dealt with Full Race other than traction bars but from the people I know who have, those guys have killer service as well and we all know they make sick power. It's really just up to you.

peakboost has the most amazing customer service i have ever dealt with.
Full Race is not bad either, but they are just a tad pricey for some peoples wallets.
I know their stuff is top notch, but i cant see spending 1500-2000 for the same kit, only difference is machine tigged manifold and backdoor intercooler.
Both comapnies are great, but peakboost takes the win in my eyes.

Full Race:
This kit is dyno proven! At 5psi on pump gas, this kit put down 284whp! At 11psi, this kit put down 354whp! The following parts were used to with the stage 3 kit:
- Stock GSR block
- 3mm head gasket
- ARP headstuds
- Edlebrock IM
- 3" Thermal Exhaust,
- 720cc injectors
- Walboro 255lph fuel pump
- Hondata S100.
I hear good things about both kits, good luck in deciding.

I made 352hp @ 9psi using a t3/t04e peakboost kit. Well over 400hp @15 psi.(pump gas)
So both kits are proven, peakboost is just cheaper price

im going to say Full-Race obviously...lol. but seriously...its all personal reference really. the reason i say Full-Race is because they have never let me down and ALWAYS helped me out when i needed help!
youll decide which kit you want man...just give it some time and really think it over. i know it sux at 1st but youll decide soon!

Re: Im confused, full race or peakboost?? (cuin9sec)
good friend got a peak boost. awesome quality.
only problems were this
1. he have to modify lower charge pipe because of gsr motor. pipe was designed with ls, b16 manifold in mind
2. dump went at wierd angle
but a friend with a tig, fixed it right up!
