Alternative to Full Race?
Me and another member were discussing this... and I know that Full Race kits are top of the line, but personally I think theyre just a tad bit over priced.
So my question to you is, what is your alternative to full race turbo kits?

To me a full-race kit is useless unless your building an all out monster. I dunno I was just debating the situation, and like I said I know the quality of the kits, I just think that it's overkill for most street-driven vehicles.

Re: Alternative to Full Race?
I understand your point. Its alot of money for a manifold
I got mine because it is proven to make good power and for peace of mind
I dont worry about my manifold cracking.
I also had their products on my old evo8
never had a problem

Arizona Forced Induction-AFI
SpoolinPerformance
InlinePro
Peakboost
Neukin
LoveFab
RLD Fab
OneFab-he may have gone out of business
You have a lot of options. You'll have stories of good and bad from each and every one of them. I know I'm missing a couple of places and I apologize. I won't vouch or discredit any of these places. I'm just giving alternatives to Full-Race like the OP asked.

Look in the for sale thread in the drag racing forum you can get a nice quality piece for a really good price. Used is still a good part what does it matter???

Re: Alternative to Full Race?
ALL and ANY manifold can and usually will crack over time its just wear n tear.
also there have been cases of a FR manifold cracking and they handled the case very professionally and quickly. robot aren't perfect they're just more consistant than people.

Re: Alternative to Full Race?
Full-Race is having a sale right now with some pretty hefty discounts, you should check it out in the sponsors section.
RCautoworks is not an alternative to full-race. I have nothing against them but they aren't an alternative, not by any means.

Re: Alternative to Full Race?
Not as long as everyone keeps it on a mature level like it is right now, there is nothing wrong with shopping around and getting the most bang for your buck.
I think Full_race is equivilent to buying a Type-R motor to a JDM GSR motor. Sure you can a couple more whp, but is it really worth the extra bread in the end?
I'm not trying to bash Full-Race by any means, my buddy has a full-race ITR and I used to have a full race Del-Sol, but it just seems as though I can get to where I'm trying to go number-wise a cheaper alternative route.
Thanks for all the input guys, I didn't think the thread would be this popular.
