Tossing around the idea of Turbo GSR
Well I am fortunate to have a fair sized amount of money and would like to build a GSR motor.
Is the full race kit the way to go, if so what is the potential hp of this kit??
I would love to make around 450+ horsepower but I also would like to keep it reasonable. It will be mainly a race car, but I would like to have the ability to take it out on the street every once and a while.
What is the best kit to go with and what are your opinions??

search button is your best friend right now.
btw the full race kit will far exeed your expectations. if you have any "extra" desires i think that Geoff will be more than happy to help you "go fast"

are you wanting to do the WHOLE thing?
like, built engine and turbo setup now?
if so...
Full race kit, Chipped ECU from J.Davis (tell him Rob told you to do it and for him to get it DONE!!!), and get a hold of RLZ (www.hondaraceengines.com) to do your engine build. Tell them Rob Deal sent you. They'll set you up right.

Re: (GSRswapandslow)
I think so far my plans include purchasing a GSR motor either built or stock
Purchasing a 92-95 Civic to do a little swap action
How's everyone feel about the AEM EMS, I would much rather do a stand alone as opposed to a chipped ECU, especially on something so high hps.
LSD, axles, blah, blah

Re: (GSRswapandslow)
So do you know any types of prices that he would be willing to offer me?
I am not looking for a quote just some round-a-bout's, going for the ability to handle 500+whp.

get RLZ to build your engine. they're the best. Brad is LITERALLY the best head man there is. and he has some of the, if NOT THE, best prices you will find.</TD></TR></TABLE>
checked out the site, will most definantly be giving this guy a call. Very well put together website too. Not too much info, just enough.

500 whp?
sleeves, pistons, rods, bearings, oil pump, water pump, timing belt, valve springs, valves, head work, assembly, balancing, line hone possibly, etc...etc...
there's a lot to it.
i'd be your looking around 5k to get it ALL done. maybe a little more or less. you have to take it up with Brad or Howard on a personal basis to see what's going on.
e-mail either of them. ohh, and make sure you told them Rob Deal sent ya!
