Ignition question????
i'm lookin to upgrade my ignition setup..i have the hondata s200...i have ngk 8mm wires...msd cap with external coil...should i get one of those amplifiers...or is it worth gettin a distributor less setup...which parts..i got money in my pocket...i don't wanna buy something i dont need ...or not have something i should...lemma know
It's usually ok to run on stock ignition for about 300whp or below for that. The B-Series ignition system is very capable. However, from my experience w/ and w/o ignition amplification (ie. AEM CDI, MSD Digital 6 or SCI). I have found much improvement with the correct ignition system just to make sure that the fuel is burning effectively w/ the timing used. This is a great option especially if your goal is eventually to run over 350-400whp w/ good response, and not a lot of black smoke out of the back...
