Default Ignition Boxes??

Is there any benefits(gains) to MSD/Crane type of Ignition boxes? I have read countless posts where the stock ignition is fine and will handle double the hp or what not. -----> So, Why is there so many Companies marketing the ignition systems for Hondas/Acuras? Somebody is buying them, and if it has no gains on Honda/Acura, How do they expect to make a profit? and Why do they continually improve their ignition systems? The ignition sytem has to be doing something

You know people buy the Tornados, SpiralMax and E-rams too. It doesn't mean they are a worthwhile product. In some cases they will benefit you, but not unless you are making significant power. Some people like the features too. Two-step, timing retard, theft prevention, etc. The fact is, the stock ignition is great and way more reliable. Those boxes chew up rotors like crazy and personally I think they can kill ignitors as well.
