If you keep blowing the coil you've got to have a bad wiring problem and/or ignitor issue along with that wiring problem. Start by checking and cleaning your grounds. The base wires look for anything that might have damage

Turbo-LS, What CDI do you use:

SUM-850610

SUM-850611

Also in the coil:

Ps92

Ps92 E-core

Lx92 is a stronger coil the ps92 is older design but still a stout coil

Summit. 850610 but recently recommending the Mallory 6853m. There's been a run of defective summit boxes but still worth a shot. The limiter on the summit is 9900rpm the Mallory is good till 12k

What about the msd cap rotor and external coil, what do you guys think about that. I just out a turbo had that for like 3 weeks and didn't blow a coil and after I got a tune and hit it wot, after I turn of the car and go to re start it then it dies while I'm driving.

Just an external coil IMO isn't worth it. I did that years ago and had to gap the plugs down further than stock coil plus your still relaying on the ignitor to charge and fire a now larger coil. What engine management? Did they screw up the dwell settings possibly?
