I know that the turbo is spinning at idle, but does it really make enough boost to change me to about 20 in Hg in vacuum from i think around 24 or so before boost?
Do i have a vacuum leak or anything?


Also, I took off my BOV vacuum hose and covered it up, and i noticed that the vacuum went up to like 18 in Hg at idle... bad BOV or normaL?

 

My car at idle stays around the 20-22 area at idle it goes down to 24 when i punch it and let off throttle. Normal healthy engine vacuum is 18 to 22hg.

 

but what about that issue with taking off my BOV? that mean anything?
