At idle, does your compressor wheel spin at a constant?
Like the title says, while your car is at idle, does your compressor wheel keep spinning or does it eventually come to a stop? I've noticed on my SC44 the compressor wheel always spun at a constant during idle for the last 2 months, and now all of a sudden today it just stops once the car is at idle? Is something wrong here???
My SC61 doesn't spin at idle at all on my GSR, it'll slowly creep sometimes, other times it's perfectly still, same thing with my GReddy on the single cam... nothing terribly unusual.
could it be the temperature change causing it not to spin at idle now? maybe let it warm up, don't know what the conditions of idle you are talking about.
My 50 trim t3 spins at idle about 3/4 the time. This has been covered before, you are fine.

ooo i hate to hear you say that!!! lol
but yah it depends a lot on the quality of ur idle too i'd say. on my sohc the idle was kinda high and sometimes it would spin at idle. other times it would just barely go.

My brand new SC34 only spun during high idle (cold). But once it warmed up and the idle dropped to 900 it didnt spin anymore.

w00t, I feel 10X better now. Maybe it was all in my head, but I remembering it spinning at idle when we first installed it 2 months ago. I since noticed today it wasn't spinning, so I thought maybe it was a bad sign of something going wrong with the turbo itself. Thanks for the info people!
