Default A/C + Idle

Ok, well I have a little Idle Problem. Durring normal running conditions my car Idle's at about 650 warmed up. But when I turn on my a/c the idle drops to like ~500 and the steering wheel & Shifter shake like crazy. Also whenever I'm coming to a stop the idle drops really low then it jumps back up a little.

Also the steering wheel and shifter shake once the car is warmed up at idle but its not as bad as with the a/c on.

I pulled the fuse and let it sit for 5 mins, then started the car and let it idle for another 5-10 but it still does it. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

umm, first of all, your car should be idleing a little higher. When it is cold it may idle at about 1500 rpm's at first then slowly move down to 1000 or so, till it warms up.

When warm your car should idle between 850-900rpms. When your a/c compressor kicks on, your IACV in conjunction will compensate for the rpm change. You should either do an idle learn, or idle your car up a bit, useing the flat head that is staring you in the face when you are looking straight at the throttle body.

Note : do not touch the return hex headed bolt to raise your idle, that is just a return stop.
