Default IAB's and Nitrous

Lets assume i take out the IAB's in my Intake Manifold...

will that help my low end power with nitrous? because theoretically i'm adding more air, thus more nitrous/air has a chanse to enter the combustion chamber faster

is my theory correct?

the IAB's in the stock GSR manifold do serve a purpose...the air coming into the engine is going to pass through the first port (of two, the second of which is closed until the IABs open) and therefore the airspeed will be a lot higher as per the Bernouli effect. I'm no expert on how airspeed effects power gain, but it will have an effect on throttle response. If you were to take those IABs out, which many people do, you may lose a little low end and possibly some midrange. Its not a terrible idea; i just dont see it helping you all that much on a stock IM.

hope this helps and maybe someone with first hand experience can chime in....i know that when i switched to my HP Racing IM, i had a loss in low end but a gain in upper mid and peak power.

^i didnt know if the nitrous would make up for the loss in air velocity...
