Well one week into boosting. I got two CELs w/ the afc hack the yesterday. Code 13 (BARO sensor) and Code 45 (too lean/to rich... i'm thinking too rich). I got it w/ the afc set at -35 across the board so i tried -40 across the board today but i got another cel. Not sure if it's those same codes but it came on durign boost just like the previous ones. I'm not sure if these is a possible factors but a) my throttle plate is off (it's bent) or the fact that my injectors might not be all the way in because i snapped one of the fuel rail bolts (it doesn't leak fuel nor can i hear or feel any vacuum leaks). Just wondering if anyone else has ever got those codes while in boost.

setup is:
2000 civic ex, t3 turbo
afc hack w/ dsm 450cc's

 

make sure you wired the afc all correctly. I had problems way back when the fields controller similar to the AFC hack and it does same thign but if not wired and proerply soldering it gives some strange codes. mostly 13. RESET the ecu and check connection should be -40-45%

Ugh CEL 13, I just posted something with that ... I got a good article from ClubSi's Boost Forum for CEL 13 -if you would like it. Most poeple with the GReddy Blue Box get 13. I see from your setup you dont have the blue box (your lucky). If you want more just let me know.

 

You know what this stupid code 13 has been plagueing me forever.... anytime you have had this instance does it go on when going up hill with little load and light throttle, cause thats the ONLY time mine comes on for that...

Anyway I will take your advice and check the connections again, I would LOVE to get this CEL....

mine came on just under boost. like yesterday. i was getting onto the highway and i got on it a little... threw a CEL (like i said, not sure if it's 13 right now)

Yeh man.....I just posted about this....wish I could fix it but no matter what it won't go away...maybe I just need to get hondata....unfortunately I don't know anywhere to get it tuned. Time to save up I guess.

I would keep your AFC settings at more like -38 - -35. Thats where I found them to work the best on your motor @ 9psi.

I wonder if you could crack open the ECU and solder a voltage divider onto the output of the baro pressure sensor so that the output would more closely match the AFC adjusted MAP sensor output. I've never really looked for the baro pressure sensor inside an ECU. Does anyone know if it's big and obvious and easily jerry rigged?

Actually now that I think about it that probably would **** up any baro pressure compensation that the ECU does. You'd have to find the specific circuit that does the comparison of the MAP pressure to baro pressure and tinker with that. Nevermind.
