Cel Code 3 with AFC hack and way too much fuel
Me and a friend just ended installing a turbo kit on a d16y7. We are using the AFC, DSM 450 and 255lph fuel pump. We wired everything as the instructions said and have set the fuel substraction from -%40 to even -%50 but when we try to turn on the car it just bogs and wont start. We are getting a cel code 3 which is MAP sensor electrical failure. What could it be? To low of a map signal? We are at about 1000 meters above sea level (dunno in feet). Could the rail be getting too much fuel pressure that the stock regulator cant cope with and thats wy it wont even idle?

are you runing a resistor box on the injectors??? do you get the code while your driving or is it just when you idle???

i have a b18c1 with rc 440 and afc, got in a wreck. i thought i won't get it back so took off the afc. so you know it was running way rich but it started up. if it doesn't start it can't be your fuel system i would think.

we got the car to half-idle and kinda-run but we had to put in 310cc injectors from a mitsubishi 3000 VR-4 cause it didnt want to idle or even start with the 450s. The afc install is fine, we checked everything and everywire from the afc and injectors (were using inline 10watt 10 ohm resistors)
Now our bigest proble is that the turbo TD05H 14b is smoking like a bitch and theres even oil coming out of the downpipe

yes we chocked the map voltage and its fine.
How do I check the oil pressure to the turbo? Will it damage the seals if it has too much? Its coming from a line from a tee in the back of the block where you connect the oil pressure sensor

Re: (jetpilot)
are you sure your wiring is correct for the afc? how about your other settings? i remember i connected the wires backwards and it had the same symptoms as youre having now....
OFF TOPIC: will more oil than what is needed in the engine (in the oil pan) increase oil pressure?
