Trouble with AFC Hack. Help with diagnostic.
A friend of mine is having trouble lately with his AFC.
He has set his AFC in -50, but he gets a CEL and the car dies. The car just keeps on spraying fuel.
He is having trouble starting his car, then he gets the CEL and the AFC doesn't responds.
What could be the cause of this problem?
He has the 255 fuel pump, 440cc injectors and AFC is at -50.
Thanks.

first off whats the CEL for... pull the code for the info.
second what do you mean by it just keeps spraying... like the fuel pump keeps priming or you hear the injectors clicking non stop?
afc does not respond as in... elaborate? the screen is lit and powered, or goes black? your sensor settings and sensor voltage readings were all correct per the install instuctions?

Re: (ARAXIS)
Is that the high pressure Walbro fuel pump? Check your base fuel pressure.
-50% won't idle 450cc if everything is correct, with the engines/ECUs I am familiar with. Try -40% to -30% when the car has sat long enough to not be flooded anymore.
