K, we just installed an SMC+ got it idling and running perfect and everything. All of the sudden, we get a code 43, which i think is "fuel supply system". This comes on whether idling or driving after the standard two minutes. the car runs and drives beautifully, idles like it should with 450cc's. Im stumped. The injectors are installed correctly. The injectors have been cleaned. WHat else could it be? Weve reset the ECU many times, still code 43. Stock fuel pump too btw...

39, 37, 35, 35, 35, 32, 32, 32.
Those are our settings. The car rocks while in boost, revs like stock, no more bogs before boost, etc. Actually, around 4k rpm, it just RIPS...absolutely insane. Only problem is the CEL...anybody else experience this, or have any ideas???

ok we are still having problems. The car is irratic, sometimes there is a CEL, other times not. Sometimes it bogs really badly, other times not. WTF is going on here?
I changed the settings to 45 idle, and 30 the rest of the way. This helped a lot, but we are still getting irratic problems. Also, still getting the CEL #43.
If something is causing the map sensor to stick, would this cause the #43(fuel supply system)? We have yet to get any other code, but heres my theory:
We had an FMU/check valve setup. I sealed the hole with some high temp silicone. So when I went to reinstall the map sensor, I wonder if there was still a chunk of silicon in there, and it got blown right into the map sensor.
Now, if this were causing the map sensor to "stick" would this cause the ECU to think that the fuel supply system was malfunctioning?
To me, if the fuel supply system is not working properly, it would cause the map sensor to get wierd readings. But our fuel system and ALL connections are soldered and hooked up properly, so I know there are no problems with the fuel system.
Could it work the other way around? Am I dilerious? Any suggestions would help very much...my gf is ready to leave the darkside after this mess....
