how to tune vtec turbo setup
im just wondering, how do you guys with b16's or b18's or whatever honda motor you got with a vtec tuned your turbo? do you have them both kicking in at the same time? or do you have em kicking in at seperate times?
say i set my vtec at 5700rpm, what would be the optimal setting for my turbo to be at? assuming i still have the stock 8200 redline of the b16.

Re: how to tune vtec turbo setup (bm3r)
well i read an article once about tuning with vtec.. what they did was they set the x-over at a really high rpm (maybe 7k on a b16) and tuned the car with the low speed lobes/cam. Once they had that set they made the x-over low like around 3k rpm. then they got the a/f on that good and I can't remember the rest.. But it should tune just like any other non vtec car...

Run the low cam with the a/f's dialed in, then run the high cam with the a/f's dialed in. Overlay the 2 dyno graphs on the screen and set your vtec point where the lines intersect.
