how much psi???
im running a stock ls with one of the larger precision t3/t4 turboes. What would be recomended on how much psi i should run? i want to make as much power as possible but dont want to worry about blowing my motor apart. i know it will come down to the tuner but is there a general amount of boost that will be ideal for power/ and reliability? thanks

boost till you blow it then you know you went to far j/k...
I heard 14 pounds on a stock motor someone might want to confirm it but of course it comes down to the tune.

stop listening to your friends and do what you want to do. Dont go by a "psi" number, make enough power that your happy with, run the apropriate amount of timing along with the right octane rating and you will be fine.

+1 Dont listen to people who tell you "you could push 12psi of boost but no more than 14psi of boost"
Those people are what we call "dumbasses" in the professional world. Most people that think they know stuff about cars and give you advice like that have just read one too many magazine articles or watched 2F2F too many times....
